Lebendiges Meiningen e.V. is a citizens' association in Meiningen, Thuringia (Germany). We bring art, culture, encounter and participation back into the inner city, carried by the people who actually live here.
What we do
We open vacant shop windows for temporary art and workshops. We organise a monthly market on the main square. We host an open round table where new ideas for the city are born. Everything we do is small, visible, and made with people, not for them.
